Glenys Boyne

Glenys Boyne is an author, human resources professional, wife, and mother whose journey from New York City to motherhood inspired her to share stories centered on family, faith, gratitude, and life’s unexpected blessings.
Born and raised by a single mother in Harlem, New York, Glenys spent the first 30 years of her life in the city that shaped her independence, resilience, and appreciation for community. She attended St. Francis College in Brooklyn and, after graduating, began a career in New York City’s museum and cultural sector. Her professional journey included work with the Brooklyn Historical Society, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Rubin Museum of Art, and the New-York Historical Society.
In 2021, Glenys began a new chapter when she moved to Milford, Connecticut, and joined a small homeless shelter as Director of People Operations. There, she became deeply involved in strengthening organizational culture, recruitment, employee retention, and workplace practices. Her work reinforced her belief in the importance of compassion, dignity, and creating environments where people feel valued.
Motherhood, however, became one of the most transformative chapters of her life.
After ten years of marriage, Glenys and her husband decided they were ready to start a family. For years, they had postponed parenthood because of financial considerations and, later, the uncertainty brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. Glenys had also spent years wondering whether becoming a mother would ever truly be part of her story. By 2024, those feelings gradually changed, and the desire to become a mother began to grow.
In July 2025, Glenys learned she was pregnant. Although the pregnancy was planned, the reality of becoming a parent brought excitement alongside uncertainty about how dramatically life was about to change. After months of a healthy pregnancy, Glenys unexpectedly developed preeclampsia at 35 weeks and delivered her daughter prematurely at Danbury Hospital.
That experience changed her perspective on motherhood, gratitude, and the meaning of a miracle.
Her daughter became the inspiration behind Noely, A Tiny Miracle and the stories that followed. Through her writing, Glenys celebrates the wonder of childhood from a baby’s point of view while reflecting on family, faith, love, curiosity, and the small everyday moments that become treasured memories.
For Glenys, these books are more than children’s stories. They are a celebration of the daughter she once wondered if she would ever have—and a reminder to cherish the unexpected blessings that can change the course of our lives.
